The No History of the Near Not Now

Join us for a staged reading of The No History of the Near Not Now: a new play by Stephen M. Hornby, Directed by Matt Hassell.

In a near alternative future, the past is not the past anymore, years have been banned and museums are closing. All that is left of history is the “not now”. But some archives won’t give up without a fight, especially when they’re queer ones from Islington, and just a little bit magical…

Join out team of actors from Young Actors Theatre Islington in this exciting staged reading of the No History of the Near Not Now and see some of Islington’s LGBTQ+ stories from the archive bought to life.

After the performance we will be holding a Q&A with the actors about the development of the play and the characters they are portraying.
