Derek Jarman Plaque Unveiling and Display

In 2017 the people of islington voted for Derek Jarman (1942-1994), artist, film director and queer activist to join our Islington People’s Plaque in the borough.

Join us on 1 February at 1.30pm to celebrate this event at his Liverpool Road address. (60 Liverpool Road, Islington N1 0PY)

From 6th – 27 Feb 2018 Islington Museum will showcase a small display celebrating Derek Jarman’s life in Islington and beyond including photos and ephemera from his time at Liverpool Road.

Open 10am – 5pm daily (closed Wednesdays and Sunday)
